If any of you are without health insurance and worried about getting injured while skiing/riding this winter, check out membership in Adventure Advocates. It costs $25/month and members receive accident medical insurance coverage that's good 24/7. Members also get a lot of other benefits including air evacuation coverage, gear discounts, a chiropractic plan, alternative medicine plan, lodging discounts and rental car discounts. Check it out at www.adventureadvocates.com
I'm actually the marketing director. They Accident Medical Insurance that is included with membership covers accidental injuries 24 hours a day. The plan provides up to $25,000 of coverage after a $100 per accident deductible. You can read the explanation of benefits by visiting: http://www.adventureadvocates.com/accident.html
You won't find anyone who has any experience with the membership due to the fact that it has only been available since 9/1.
