backcountry harness position

I'm starting to gear up for some backcountry skiing. I'm not sure if I should be wearing my harness inside my bibs or outside. The bibs have a fly that should suffice the attachment loop to slip out of (among other things ). My questions is this: How many of you wear your harness outside your pants and how many wear it inside?

Harness always outside (too cumbersome underneath not to mention access to carabiners, etc. on the loops)...avalanche beacon always under shell/outerlayer
