Lost Throw bag on Hermosa Cr 5/7/08

While in a river wide rescue situation my beloved and much used Astral marsupial throw rope and bag was lost to the abyss of the Hermosa Creek north of Durango.

If you find my beloved throw bag please return it to me! Several people who have tugged on the end of it to safety and someday perhaps you yourself may feel more comfortable if it were back in my hands.

It is red with yellow rope and should be easy to spot when the river receeds in July (or perhaps September).

liquid reward, as usual....

Not trying to hijack your thread, but I'm curious, what's that creek like? Is it boulder gardens and scenic? Any cool drops?

This was a post work park and huck and to be honest with you our boy swam early and the rescue took a long time in a slightly gorged in spot on the river.
I would love to tell you all about the river but all I can say is at twilight and into dark everything is a blind drop and class 5!

In other words I ran the shit after dark and have no idea what it looks like!

I will post a Hermosa Creek TR when we go back and stick it soon.

No, no hazard that I know of...I assume it is hung up in one of many strainers. It is bright yellow for the time being till the algea takes hold so it is visible.
