Found Gear on The Blue

Sunday May 18 we put in at 14:00 and noticed some gear. We did our first run and waited on some more paddlers before beginning our second run. By the time we finished up it was near dark and the parking lot was empty, but the gear remained. I tried to decide the best course... should I just leave it and maybe (if even noticed or remembered where they left the gear) the actual owners would come back for it. Or, should I take it so it isn't just left there. I decided to take it. The way I figured it someone would just have eventually taken it and at least this way I know there was an actual attempt made to find the rightful owners. To be honest I am still debating on whether I have made the right call, but I am hoping I made the right choice. There is no name nor contact number on it (it is a great idea to tag all your stuff). If I lost something on the river this is the first place I would look. Hopefully I can get this back to whomever it belongs. As you have probably noticed, I haven't stated what I found.... So, if you can prove it is yours by describing exactly what you have misplaced, I would be more than happy to return it to you.
