Is the SR Standard going to have a removable/tearaway mouth guard or is it fixed?

TBD

searching for the right kind of fastners first. so for now it is fixed, but again this is all prototypes and much work left to be done. find the right fasteners and we can make it removable.. if anyone has leads on low profile quick release type fastners, beside snaps, let me know

Congradulations, I'm sure it took months of sleepless nights to come up with a design so origional. Obviously you wouldn't want to associate it with the WRSI since you took such great pains to at least create a new thread for it. So is the price point ~$70?

IMHO, if you want to sell the shit out of those things, search out the right fasteners make them removable. I know so many boaters who want one helmet that they can use both full face and not. The design looks sweet, especially with the ear guards. Make them swappable and you'll have one of the top selling helmets on the market....IMHO.

shred ready helmet looks cool but it doesn't look like it has the impact absorption ability that the WRSI does since the WRSI has full coverage foam (and has two layers of foam and two layers of ABS)... if I am going FF I want the most protection I can get... plus the WRSI should be removable since the FF is an add-on piece.

One wonders why you put the SR in this thread instead of starting a SR full face thread...

The SR standard has 13 mm of high density EPP foam molded to shape. that is alot more foam then 6 mm inner pad and varying thickness of fitting pads in the WSRI.

The SR standard has 13 mm of high density EPP foam molded to shape of the head and the helmet shell. EPP is the state of the art in multiple impact foams bar none that I know of. Sure beats the heck out of 1/4 inche EVA foam.. that is alot more foam then 6 mm inner pad and varying thickness of fitting pads in the WSRI.
