Try posting " very disappointed with my new Werner paddle" or something along those lines.
I wish cataract would hurry up with my replacement oars and have been waiting longer than i think nessesary but I'm not going to post " why cataract oars suck and I'll never row them again"
Think before you post or you might get hazed.
Now get on the river and off the interweb. Its about to rain or I'd be on the rio now.
WOw, was gone for a week and this is now 7 pages. Yes SPyder, point taken, a very negative start to the post. In hindsight i should have started it as, "CKS Rocks." I was super pissed when i wrote this. Now, I have used the Stinger for another week and CKS replaced it with the solid paddle and I really love it, super light, tons of power and it seems to be holding its own.
As for all the hate, I also found it harsh but entertaining. I was raised in retail, i told my story to a couple of other owners of outdoor retail shops and they said the paddle should have been replaced right away. I bought it, used it on the first outing and it snapped. Yes, i should have bought a solid shaft version but had the other adjustable that worked for years.
Either way, the fact is I am not some hack who does not know how to get down the river, and the bracing i was doing did not put a huge load on the paddle.
TO CKS more props, to Werner, sorry for being so harsh but your service leaves a lot to be desired.
Surfing the Glenwood wave at high water, with a minor brace.
