Zac buddy - you gotta go Idaho style, just pee in the boat. Take the next wave a tiny bit sideways. Done.

Used this technique with friends, peeps and family. In flat and moving water and no one even knew.

On my trips it was beer just an hour ago anyway so it's not bad.

On flat water you have to be careful for the noise.

So I am building my own frame, I used to have a double rail on the cat I just sold. It was easier to strap down gear and walk on the boards. Last year I put 3/4" birch plywood on the single rail raft frame on the 14' to give it decking and place to strap things down. With the board spanning a 24" section or less It has worked perfectly and has supported an over 220 lbs person who jumped on it, as I feel a double rail just means more weight for the raft that can be used in carrying more gear.I'l let you know how the single rail works with the boards this season. I just think the double rail is overkill.

Who's your monkey?
