I agree about sitting most of the time, its a little more challenging to cast, but you get used to it. However, I like to roll cast streamers on sinking lines for pigs and that is easier to do while standing. That said, I don't trailer my boat, so to keep the package manageable I don't do the floors and leaning bars, and when I stand I wedge my feet in the space between the inflated floor, and the tubes, and lean on the tube. Ghetto, but it gets it done, and the fish don't know my ride ain't pimped.

but if I ever go the trailer route, it might be hard to resist the floating jungle gym

Whoa...with all that hardware on the raft, you are correct...a trailer is necessary or it would take me all morning to re-assemble the raft and frame...It also pretty much requires a ramp for the trailer, limiting our put in take out choices a bit. I float a 1 man pontoon when the put in is tough and/or the water is forgiving. PS Love the name "floating jungle gym"!!!

I had the recretec front and rear cating decks for a while and like them, but then found that they weren't really necessary for the type of fishing I do, which is mostly side drifting for salmon and steelhead
