I wouldn't call myself a beginner, but by no means an expert. Maybe some would say I'm still a beginner.
I didn't get out last season, but the 2 before that I had 5-10 trips each on a 10 mile section of class 2 and 3 rapids (east coast rivers). I was to the point where half of my flips were rolled back over, the other half were unsuccessful and wet exits (of course depending on the situation of the water at the time). Although the second season I was barely flipping at all in those rapids so I didn't practice rolling in the rapids much. I was borrowing boats, and several times used a Jackson Fun or some Jackson boat very similar and really liked the aggressiveness and maneuverability it had. To me it was more fun than the bigger boats we had in the arsenal that were more of a just cruise through the rapids and don't worry. I liked having to be aggressive in them to keep myself straight and upright.
It probably doesn't make a difference which I get I'm probably overthinking things, but I've narrowed it down to the cfs or the H3 at least.
