which creeker?

Hey there, I am looking at getting into creeking this coming spring and need some advice on which boats I should look at. I am 5'7" and 130 pounds. I have kinda been looking at the Pyranha Burn, Bliss-Stick Mystic, or the Jefe. I want something that I can load down for multi days, but it doesn't have to be a good big water boat, as I already have a boat I like for that. Any suggestions? Thanks!

other than adding the small nomad to your list, i would say demo the boats on your list and go with what you feel confident in.

Ditto. I love the Nomad, the Burn, and the Jefe. They are all great boats with only small differences. I haven't paddled the Bliss-Stick but their boats do tend to be heavier than most which can be a negative when you have a fully loaded boat and are portaging around hazards, which tends to happen a lot creeking. Best of luck

Thanks for all the input, I'll have to add the Nomad to my list I suppose.

unless you are short on cash, demo all of them first. They all have something going for them

Plus most stores will apply all the money you spend demoing to the boat if you purchase it there.

I'm pretty small and found that the Jefe fit me much better than the Huck. The cockpit is higher on the Huck which makes it difficult to get a snug fit with the kneebraces (at least for a short person). Plus the Huck is slower than a quadruplegic swimming a butterfly race (sorry, no offense Bob). And yes, I am pretty biased against the Huck, even though I know paddlers who love it.
