Baselayer wool suit,
since most of us live in the United States we are limited to whitewater gear that is sold in our region. Currently trying to upgrade my baselayers for some spring creeking and since I cannot order the sweet protection fleece suit, Iv been researching other baselayers. Has anyone used the Airblaster Ninja suits yet?

I don't have personal experience with this but...

I would think under armor cold gear would be perfect. Its designed to wick away moisture and dry quick while keeping you warm and with the most mobility possible. That and a fleece should be all you need.

Any other people use and recommend it?

+1 midweight wool base under fleece, assuming the water's cold. If it's sunny, lightweight fleece (something like Patagonia R1.5 waffle). If it's cloud and nasty then heavyweight fleece. With pogies. But I'm skinny and get cold easily. Best reason for wool is that it doesn't stink.

I did the farmer john with the dry top with a heavy weight wool base layer under the neoprene when cold (comfort too) and a fleece sweater when really cold. Being on the skinny side I get cold fast. I still say fleece bunny suite and dry suit is worth it's weight in gold for the cold, and not that bad in warmer weather with just a rash guard and exofficio or smartwool boxers only. I now have dry pants and top I will probably never use again except to reduce the amount of wear I put on my pricey dry suit.
