Wavesport Z, score

Are either of these boats good for a gal to learn in? How about ease of rolling, etc. grabby edges? Downriver, tracking, play, etc. What would make one better than the other?
Cheers,
Perry

The Z is a fairly large boat so unless she is a taller girl I would say dont chose the Z. I have never paddled a score so cant help you there but i know that it is a smaller boat than the Z.

Yep, I would say the Z would be OK if the girl in question was tall AND somewhat heavy. The Score is a big boat too and more playful. It is a bigger version of the Forplay.

She's 5'3", 120 lbs, but she's definitely more interested in riverrunnung than play, but she will probably want a boat that can surf-kayak without being washed into a side-surf for the runnout to the wave. However, it seems both of these boats may not fit her even though she wants it more for downriver. True? the outfitting is just too long for her legs? Does anyone have something they would recommend for her more suitable? I have been recommended the Pyranha 220. any other ideas? Thanks,
Perry

The Inazone220 is a great boat for a smaller person to learn in. It tracks well and is a good river-runner even in big water. It also plays and surfs really well. It is a relatively stable boat (as far as play boats go) and is also one of the easier boats to learn to roll in; it's the boat I learned in. I'd say this was a very good recommendation.

Okay, I hate to do it but I am selling a boat, and it would probably be a decent fit. Dagger G-ride 6.2. I will sell it for less than I have it advertised ($425) for if I still have it after the 10th. It was great river runner for me and I'm 5'2" and 165 lbs. It is also a great playboat, does settle into side surf rather quickly, but it is not that hard to get straight. At 120 lbs, it should be a great river runner.

I suppose you could get her a Wave Sport X which is a smaller version of the Z. Actually, the Z is a larger version of the X but who cares?

If you have to get wavesport look for a Siren its the gurl version of that boat you are refering to, or look for an EZ for newer look at the EZG42

The score is a piece of Shit, the Z is a great boat but way to big. The inazone 220 is a great Idea and a used one will save you lots of money so you can buy a woody paddle(inside joke).
