Wave Sport WhiteOut Outfitting Peeling

So I bought a used Diesel and it has the peeling issue of the WhiteOut Outfitting. I think the kayak was built in 2011, but am not positive. On the Wave Sport warranty info webpage, dated April 2012, they state that they will replace the outfitting if you are the original owner and have a receipt.

Does anyone know if Wave Sport will do anything with the outfitting for me (the second owner) since it was a warranty issue?

And if the warranty angle seems unlikely, are seats easy to buy? I tried searching for 'WhiteOut Outfitting' and never came across any sites to purchase one.

I'm sure they will send you out the replacements. I bought a used Diesel a couple of years back and they sent me the newer outfitting without the delimitation issues. Problem is that Wave Sport US are currently being dismantled so you better be quick contacting them!!

I had the same experience as SimonMW. I had bought a used Wavesport Project X with the peeling outfitting. I called WS and they sent me the new outfitting. I don't think you will have a problem as long as they have the outfitting in stock.

After reading about SimonMW's experience, I was very optimistic. I did not however have the same experience that either SimonMW or didee99 had.

I called Wave Sport today, gave them my serial number, and then they told me that without an original purchase receipt they could not help me.

Wave Sport didn't indicate any shortage issues for warranty parts.

So, I contacted the seller (original owner) and they are kind enough to process the paperwork for me.

I've got my fingers crossed.
