Stohlquist Bunny Suit

I don't have enough miles on it yet to give a meaningful review, but it sure is comfy and warm.

I've a suggestion to keep you all occupied...learn to swim!

I have the Kokatat one piece. It is OK, not super warm but I can layer over it when I need to. It is not as dense of a fleece as the IR version which can be nice on warmer days. A potential problem I can see with wool is that the newer stuff is usually fairly thin which may allow more thermal conduction between you and the water outside the dry suit. I would be interested to know how they work as the wool layers I have smell much nicer than the synthetic ones.

I asked on here about this topic this winter. I ended up getting the IR union suit, though someone on here said the Kokatat is warmer.

The IR works great for me. Individual top and bottom pieces 'ride up' at my waist when I paddle, leaving me with no insulation at my core sometimes when paddling in my dry suit. When paddling in conditions that are really cold for me I still sometimes add extra layers with it (typically an R1 patagonia layer on my legs actually) and I'm good to go. I love it. Super comfy for me in general, though I haven't had to groove while wearing it yet. How it fits in the shop is how it fits inside my drysuit.

Just got the IR one, and love it so far. Not as warm as i thought it would be on those super cold days. No worries, just add my thick fleece that i used to wear anyways on top, and i'm super comfy. I used to hate the ride up effect of two separate pieces, very glad to have the one piece that fixes the chaffing/cold problem. Highly recommend getting one! Once the sun starts coming out a little more It'll be sweet to rock it solo!
