Home made table

These are made from 1/2 MDO plywood, and mostly 1/2 EMT conduit (with 3/4 S leaves at pivot point of the legs) Used a conduit bender ($32 at Homedepot). The notches on these are because the seat bridges over the table. The trap door is to access a hatch under it when on the boat. Tables are very light, and strong. The height is great for counter, too high for cards. Had one more photo with it folded up, but lost it in the transfer. The legs fold almost complete flat, due to the cross braces are on opposite sides of legs (you do have to fold one set in before the other though).

not a total failure but I used steel threaded pipe from home depot so the legs screw into the table. Its not bad but too tall and pretty wobbly. I will try to put up pics, it works but the legs that are attached to the table with strap adjustments work better.

I just got a quote of $350 to professionally turn my polydeck into a table...I guess I will keep serching for other options. Keep the ideas coming.

Down River basically uses a Hollaender sleeve, welded to angle aluminum, and 1" aluminum legs bent at 15 degrees near the top to make it wider and more stable at the base. They attach it to the deck with rivets. Top notch job, but big money.

May the wind be always at your back,
May the sun shine warm upon your face.
