Tips for cutting and glueing Ethafoam?
I just purchased a quarter sheet of ethafoam, and am planning on topping my dry boxes with it. I have never dealt with this type of foam, so I have a few questions.
What's the best way to cut it?
It seems hard/rigid enough to try a run at the table saw without melting it, but not absolutely sure? Utility knife/straight edge, turkey knife, or....?
What side goes towards the box?
The sides seem to be quite different, one is very porous and the other more "closed" and uniform. Seems that it would wear better with the "closed" side out, but that same side would probably adhere better to the box. Tips?
