The Top Creek Boats (1 for Micro)

From what I've read and heard, The Top Creek Boats would be The Micro, M3, Salto, and Jefe (not necesarily in that order though). I myself have no preference as I am just a rookie creeker. But I am in the market for my first full-on creeker. So, anyone feel compelled to add to the list? I wonder what the unofficial Mountain Buzz Top Creek Boats of all time would be. Shall we vote on it? I grew up around some old school creek-heads and they raved about the Micro, so with respect to my roots, my vote goes to Micro.

Wasn't there a poll like last week? There are so many differences between the old micro and the new jefe that it's not even funny. Way different boats.

Well, there was the 'chine or no chine' disscusion which kind of turned into more of a disscusion about creek boats in general. It basicaly came down to the M3 or the Jefe (depending on your preference, with or without chine, to over simplify it). I'm just tryin to gey my finger on the pulse of creek boating. It seems like pyranha has had their poop in a group all along, while most other companies are still in diapers. I mean, has Dagger even put out a Creek Boat worth a $*%!? So, The Big Boyz are pretty much Pyranha's M3 and Micro, Liquid Logic's Jefe, and Eskimo's Salto. Out of the nine or ten boat companies, making one to three models each, thats probably about thirty different creekers to choose from (mind you, I'm no expert, this is just my understanding of the situation) there are only four Big Guns? What about the Perception Java, Necky Crux and Blunt, Bliss-Stick Mac 1, The Prijon Cross, or The Jackson Hero's?

Dagger has the Nomad, one of the most popular creek boats around.

Go for the Salto. I've paddled a lot of creekers and that is by far my favorite.

The jefe and the blunt are actually very similar...check out the specks:

www.necky.com/blunt.htm

The volume distribution even looks pretty similar. Definately more bow rocker in the jefe.
