David, I read the articles in the past and thought they were really good, but I am wondering which of the two you preferred for creeking?
Ian- If you are purely looking for performance on creeks (low volume and steep), then I would recommend the Stomper 90 for you. Both boats are very good boats, but the Stomper has more volume to float you a little higher, and will be a little easier to boof and turn quickly. That extra volume will also let you pack a bit more in the stern without getting squirrely.
The Nomad will feel a lot smaller on you. I paddle it a lot and I am 5'10 and 170. It will also be slightly less creeking optimized, as it has a little bit longer waterline and less rocker.
I would still demo both boats if you have the chance. Good luck with you decision!
