Space Cadet

I am currently using a Dagger Medieval and its got 57 gallons. I can't get it to move anywhere vertically on the flats. I weigh 176 and am 6'. Will the Space Cadet be more easy to get vertical or not. I ask because it is only 2 less gallons.
