if you go to (S&C's owner) you can find the Big Agnes probably discounted as well maybe not quite as much. You can also open a dialog with the "GearHead" and possibly negotiate yourself the S&C price....

If your main goal is to be camping on the river I would suggest not getting a down bag. Synthetics can be just as warm are a little bit heavier but if they get wet they still stay warm...if your down gets wet you may as well not even use it. You're also better off getting a warmer one b/c you can always open the zipper. I have used my -40 Marmot bag in 40 degree temps...just lay on top and your fine.

If you sign up for the 'Daily Dose', you will recieve an e-mail that gives some of the upcoming items for the day. Generally, in a clever little blurb. You can add SAC to your personalized Yahoo or Google page. It doesn't update as frequently, but it shows the last four or three, respectively, items. However, if you click on an old item, it will link to the current item. So, you don't know the price of the old item, just what it was.

Another good site is - deal of the day monitoring tracker aggregator . It compiles several 'deal of the day' pages, including SAC.

try this, they also have a swap area to be able to buy and re-sell items that have been up before.
