If I take it on Westwater instead of the dry suit late later this month, I definitely want to have the new one on. I could only imagine it ripping right at the put in. I have no worries about replacing it though, I'm extremely handy at things like that so it will be easy.
I read somewhere about using a heat gun to actually remove the entire old gasket and glueing the new one directly onto the fabric, instead of just cutting the old one, leaving an inch or so, and glueing the new one to the old rubber. Has anyone ever tried this method? I may look into it some more.
