You would be better off with the 9.5. Your frame is probably 66". 9' is kinda short for a 14' boat, most of my friends run them on their 13' boats and i have one friend with a 14 who runs 9.5. I also run 9.5 on my 66" cat frame

I think backcountry has 20% additional off one item.

Expect to pay close to $50-75 depending on the blade. If you can't find a source call Andy and Bax in Portland they have decent pricing i think. Its been awhile since i needed new blades

Hey, if you want me to take a dump in a box and mark it "guaranteed", I will. I got spare time.

......or call Advanced Composites (who make Cataract oars) and see if they have any "blem" blades. 801-476-1204. Friend of ours bought some Magnums last week for (I think) around $45. I bought some a few years ago and tho very slight curved, (you can't see it unless you sight down the blade) they have held up well.
