There is a guy in denver who makes the tube covers out of canvas with a floor. He sells the tube and cover for about $45. The tube is about 4 feet in diameter and a good size for kids and adults it is a real truck tire tube and he makes the covers in his garage. I bought 2 last summer to float the truckee in lake tahoe. They seem to be very solid. I think his company name is Clear Creek Tubes. I found him on craigslist.

Thanks all....ended up ordering the Tubepro with a bottom on it (LAGNA attached link). seemed to be a nice split between cheap tube and the NRS. $62

Grommets will try it out this weekend. They have NRS at Alpineqwest Sports in Edwards...i'll have to check into that "cadillac" if i need another one.

Tube update- Just received the tubepro w/ bottom. The tube "cover" that goes over the nice new truck inner tube is made bomber....heavy duty synthetic canvas.

The construction is at least as nice as the NRS. The only difference being the tubepro has a removable high end truck inner tube...the NRS seems to be incorporated in the tube (i looked at the NRS in person)...both design probably have their beenfits. The tubepro does nto come with an attachment point for a tether (flat water sections) may need to loop some webbing.

very impressed for $62.

The NRS has an integrated tube because it has 2 chambers, unlike a truck tube.
