This wouldn't be for paddle rafting but I'm thinking about putting one of these tubular handles at the first D Ring on either side of the bow.
There would be slots sewn on both ends of each handle.
The handle would not be permanently attached to anything.
The Chicken line would come forward and it would go through one of the slots, then the boat D Ring, then the other slot.
Positioning each handle at a D Ring.
If the chicken line wasn't kept tight this would be weak.
The handle would have to be made very snug between each slot and the vinyl. Or a rod placed in it as suggested earlier by MT4R
But there is generally a flat V formed in the chicken line at this D and having a grip there for aggressive quality passengers would be nice.
