question re attaching 2 Iks together..

Some months back someone had posted a concept of a Super Duck, by attaching 2 IKs side by side and running stuff. My friend and I want to do this with 2 Forces and were wondering how exactly the 2 should be attached to the connecting pipes?Rope? Cam straps? Also whats the best method of bridging them...a length of plastic pipe?
We are going to try this out on easy cl 3.Any help with this much appreciated.

Here's something we made at a swiftwater rescue class, 3 IK's strapped together with a couple sticks and some cam straps. Worked well enough to take a short distance down the river.

Check out Bi-Yaks. One of my friend's father invented the thing. Seems like you could do something similar with IKs.

Aluminum pipe, standard frame material, would be the best stuff. The 1 1/4" NRS pipe is smaller than what they typically make welded frames with but would be overkill for a couple of duckies. In the old days rafts ran with wooden frames maybe that would be a good place to start to see if it's worth it. Instead of a frame maybe you could just strap the two closest tubes together.
