project(45) review

Like you haven't seen one of these before.
Todays sess:a minute at sloppy seconds, the g-spot.

It made an attainment I can only otherwise make in my creekboat. (chine right, stroke, chine left, stroke) .. It got aerial stern squirts with no speed in flatwater (by kicking the back out and rolling real quick). It swapped ends easily. (i weigh 140lbs) It wanted so badly to loop, but it kept finding the ledge. It didnt feel all that loose on the wave, it prefered to carve, but the wave is tiny. It LOVES to blunt and bounce and blunt. No backstab love today. Dang.

More subjective stuff: I was really suprised about the stern squirts, that factor sold me on the boat. The scooter wasnt doing that for me.

If your like me, and have been procrastinating on the newschool playboat, get your Project before the river freezes over, you won't regret it.

I'm about 180 lbs, 5'10. thought the Project 52 was the best thing since sliced bread when I demo'd it earlier this year...Just bought one today. (Shameless cheers to CKS, boys shippin' prices are cheap, less than a tank of gas) Can't wait to get on the river! I always like the ZG, but found it had a "funny" balance end to end, problem solved with the Project. So far as being loose, on a fast wave it's loose, on a slower wave carves nicely. Anyone want to buy a well loved Sub 8?
