Is this Polymax the same as cutting board material? Or is Polymax have a rough enough surface to provide a little traction during wet conditions? I just looked every where for a Polymax or comparable product. All I could get my hands on was the cutting board material. It seemed like it would be real slippery. Does anyone have experience with Clavey's Drop Deck they sell?

Nopeó it's a molded 2' x 4' panel of 1x1" gridwork, recycled plastic with edges that interlock. Intended for chicken brooders, dog kennels, greenhouse benches, etc. Here's a piece set up for a cat floor:

The stiffeners of aluminum angle lap over the rowing frame and are pop-riveted to the PolyMax. The foam pipe insulation is cable-tied over the ends for safety.

Here's a panel rigged crosswise as a dog deck:

No stiffeners needed for a 55 lb. dog, if the edges are strapped tight to the frame. It's not slippery, drains instantly, is UV resistant, and obviously you can run a strap through anyplace.

I bought 10 sheets or so from and use some across the rafters in the garage for storageó you can see up through it and it doesn't collect dust like sheets of plywood.
