Kayaking Glove

Has anyone had any experience with a cold water diving glove. Some of the styles on the diving sites look pretty interesting. Also getting frustrated with the poor quality of the NRS gloves that I've used.

Mittens, the NRS Reactor mitt for the win. You night look like a goon, but your hands will be nice and toasty warm

Glacier Gloves are my choice. Best feel on the paddle IMO. Pogies are warmer, but I feel constrained when using them. When you start a run with dry gloves my hands will stay warm all day. Starting with wet gloves from the previous day is a toss up. Sometimes it's a non issue, sometimes my hands kill me. The gloves typically last me a little more than a season. Holes form primarily on my thumbs and between some of the webs. Serves two purposes though. When hands are burning up you can dip them in to cool off. If hands are cold you can blow in warm air.
The mitts are super warm, but can limit dexterity and can make rope work more difficult. I typically carry my mitts in a dry bag just in case my hands get too cold, but if forced to choose between one or the other I'd go with the glacier gloves.

Well, the issue has been put to rest...I ordered and received the Glaciers for Xmas. Now to wait for running water.
Thanks all you folks for all the opinions put forth, and Merry Xmas.

good discussion for those (like me) who did not know about Glacier Gloves. more options are more better.
