"made in the USA boats" are
using base materials manufactured "elsewhere" I would suspect that "elsewhere" is experiencing the majority of environmental costs associated with boat production. And they probably have 10 year olds huffing fumes to lay out sheets of PVC before the material gets shipped over to the USA so we can "made in the USA" it.
Come on cutting out and welding/gluing together pieces of fabric can't be that hard. Hell its probably more difficult to manufacture a pair of jeans. Regardless of where the boat is "made". I'll go with the company who stands behind their product best/longest. Aire, and NRS both offer a 10 year warranty (on the models I own).
