No, although I did try a Tempress. I liked it, but at the same time I started wearing a waist throw bag, and even cutting the tempress down I couldn't get it low enough. My pfd is a longer one, a Force 9 high float. Add the waist throw bag on and it was too bulky. Plus, I accidentally rowed my raft briefly without any seat, and absolutely loved how it made my back feel. I had thought the high backs were helping, giving me support, but what I really needed was to move it. So I went with the low back tractor and haven't looked back. I feel I can brace very well in it too, probably not quite as good as a high back but everything comes with tradeoffs.

I'm trying to get wildgooseengineering to design an attachment clamp that will allow you to clamp onto nrsrails (perhaps add a tube 3" offset from the rails. You could then stand with your feet bottoms in the gap or across the tubes but not far enough apart to get entrapped. You could make the scout length custom with different pipe length, and position it anywhere along lower Nrs rails. I'm guessing you could then use the nonskid adhesive strips on the pipe

So far haven't heard back.
