nikwax'ing drytop

Anybody done this? I see confluence will do it for a fee. Does it work? My drytop is pretty old, 6 or 7 years, but the gaskets are still in good shape. Water just bleeds through the fabric a bit. Is this worth my time, or should I just fork out the $250 for a new one?

there is quite a bit more to it than just spraying it with dwr. it has to be clean and i mean clean, rinse it twice, let it dry, spray, let it dry, then iron on low heat. the process works.
