Newish to WW, need boat help
Hey, so I've paddled recreationally for a while now. Over the course of that time I've paddled small whitewater. I've also had some experience whitewater rafting as well. I've decided to make the leap into whitewater kayaking this summer and need help on deciding on a new boat.
The water that I will be paddling is mainly class 3 with a little bit of class 4. However, I also want to paddle larger stuff once I get to that level. I currently live in Cincinnati but will be moving to southern Kentucky soon. I hope to paddle Russel Fork and Red River gorge (which are class 4-5 creeks) there at some point. That being said, I need a boat that can handle technical creeks but is also fun in class 2 and 3 rivers.
Like I said, I am not a total beginner. I can read river lines and know basic mechanics of kayaking, but I'd still probably need a boat that is easier to roll and more forgiving. I'm pretty well set on either the Liquidlogic Stomper 80 or Remix 69, but I'm open to other options anyone could recommend as well. I'm 5-10 and about 180lbs.
