new boater - dagger juice?

I'm a new kayaker whos only gotten a boat a few times. I'm intrested in getting a boat that can do both some playing and river running. I'm 6'2, 165 pounds and have size 11 feet. I've been looking at the Dagger Juice 7.1 and I think its what i'm looking for. Any thoughts or suggestions on other boats that would work. Thanks

eh, im a small girl, but i didn't like the juice AT ALL.

however, i am the happy owner of an EZ. i paddled with a larger guy once who loved his Big EZ. I might suggest you try that before you finally end up buyin a boat.

good luck!

Matt, sorry I have not returned your call yet. Feel free to come sit in it to test the fit if you have not yet tried one.

I think the Juice is a good comprimise between stability and some play-ability.

A big EZ might be a more foregiving first boat. Make sure whatever you buy is comfortable and relatively easy to get out of.

THere is an Inazone 232 on the swap page for $300. Might be just what you are looking for.

Good luck with the sport.

Juice is squirty in the tail. Or so i am told. As a beginner, thats the boat I went for but got talked into a used EZG60 and am really happy with it.
6'1" , 185, size 13 dogs and comfortable.

try it or go cheaper with big ez. note the big ez is a bit slower in the water.
