Need advice on outfitting "old school" boat

Hey all,

Just bought an old RPM. This boat dates to way before I started kayaking (but is still a sweet boat).
The RPM has a molded plastic seat apparatus, but nothing else for hip/thigh padding.

I was looking in the shop at various outfitting options, but to little avail.

What do people do for this vintage boat? Glue in foam? Strap in "preassembled" hip pad things? Other options?

Thanks for any advice!

Find a broken liquid logic( there are tons) with bad ass out fitting. Pull out all the outfitting(seat cover, backband, ratchets)and retro fit the rpm. The ratchets might be a little tricky but shouldn't be that bad. Bam, bad ass rpm. Did this to my tornado, pretty legit.

Old boats you put foam in. The older guys who did their boats right say new outfitting can't touch a well done foam job for comfort. I'm not that meticulous, and I struggle to get a workable foot block in my playboats so it's not for me.

I'm with Glenn. Nothing today fits as well as my old Pirouette did, but it forced me to spend the time.
Most newer outfitting is "OK" enough that I haven't bothered to take it to the final level.
