Need a new knife

Had a bearclaw up until recently but it disappeared off my vest

Since I have had it for a while i want some opinions on the new knives specifically the NRS co-pilot

couple posts i had seen complained about some play in the sheath. Has that been fixed or is it a non-issue? How does the knife connect to the vest. my one major complaint about the bearclaw is the way it attaches to teh vest. the clip is way to small so you almost need to zip-tie it.

if it makes a difference i have a greenjacket

I have both the bearclaw and co-pilot. My co-pilot is first generation, so I do notice the play in the sheath and not sure if they fixed it. While there is play, it has never come out unintentionally, just kinda weird it rattles in there.

I will say the co-pilot attaches much better than the bearclaw. It has the plastic clip setup like all my previous knives, takes up the whole space on the attachment point, and has a little lip on the end to prevent it from going back through. I would say go feel one in your hand and see if you like it, I prefer the bearclaw.

Using zip ties through the mounts on the bearclaw (clipped and kinda filed down) on my rescue vest I am now confident it will not go anywhere.

I put my Bearclaw on the shoulder strap of my Astral Sherman, it's attached with a zip tie and then I sewed the tip to the strap to keep it where I wanted it. It's easier to get and it's not flopping around on the front of my pfd.
