As to boating harder. Sort of comes with the Territory. Weigh in just under 250. Every hit has a little more force than the average Joe. That being said, the proclaimed weight range goes to 300. This was broken on a class 3+ at medium flow. The previous 25 days were at the Riverdale wave. Not a lot of rocks in there. Never experienced oil canning due to strapping either(the playboat rarely rides on top anyway). As to the baking issue. That info was given to me from Jackson kayak after I broke 2 mega rocker hulls that came from the same run.

I'd say you test the limits of the boat for sure. Its people like you that make boats stronger for people like me. Keep on keepin on.
