Funny! More useful --- I got a custom-fit Kokatat goretex dry suit from Kayak Academy last year, and I'm thrilled with it. I'm tall and skinny, long arms and long torso, and basically nothing off the shelf fits. It was (very) expensive, but very much worth it. KA has been taking measurements and suggesting custom-fits for a long time, and they were very helpful (even though I did get an inch more than recommended in the torso. I think the fit would've been fine without that inch, but with no additional cost I couldn't see a down side to getting it). I ordered in early May - rwhen the water was coming up and _lots_ of orders were going in (= long wait to get suit built), and they sent me a loaner suit for the cost of return postage.
And of course the dry suit is incredible. Wish I'd bought one 10 years ago. I still use my dry top for short evening runs and the like, but the dry suit TOTALLY ROCKED in Idaho, boating all day in cold water and rain. Couldn't believe getting off the river, dry, warm, and comfortable.
