So I just paddled wavesports new play machine the project 52 and I found it to be very painful to sit in for more than twenty minutes at a time. This was weird for me however as I only have a 31" inseam and 10.5 dogs. I also found the boat to be a bit on the high side for volume at my 172 lbs. I know all I have read about this boat are rave reviews but I was less than impressed. If I could have been more comfortable I probably would have enjoyed the design more but on the same note if I were rich I wouldn't be writing this. Anyway I guess I am stoked to be picking up my new Pyranha s/m 420 tomorrow because comfort is definitely a performance enhancing feature.

Hey Kid,

I just picked up the M/L 420 and it is super comfy. I'm about the same weight as you. I think it will feel big for some freestyle stuff (flatwater), but super comfy on my 11.5 feet. I only paddled the Project once, and I remember it being a little tight on the feet... It looped huge though, and I expect the 420 to do the same.

Woh...100% of people on this pole don't like the project. Not looking so good for the design wizards at Wavesport.
