Level 6 dry top review

Just curious if anyone has any input about the Level 6 Reign dry top. I've looked online for product reviews but haven't found any. It's supposed to be a top of the line dry top. Thanks!

seems like anybody who uses level 6 dry gear eventually has problems, and they aren't known for outstanding customer service. i have been very satisfied with goretex drytops from Kokatat and Sweet. both are very dry and comfortable. Kokatat has awesome customer service if you ever need to repair your product.

I've heard good reviews from Peak UK as well.

But as always.....Kokatat is the best.

I bought a L6 dry top (can't remember model) with the plastic lining on the inside. It lasted ~3 seasons of abuse with well over a dozen DIY repairs. The plastic lining tore in several places as well as holes in the shell. I will admit the ultimate nail in the coffin was a botched gasket replacement, so I think I could have stretched another 2-3 years out of it with more glue and tape.

I got a great deal on mine, and don't regret the purchase but understand it's a disposable good. Depending on how hard you are on gear will determine the longevity. I didn't deal with customer service at all as I figured my issues were outside warranty and I was just as happy to do the work myself.

My girlfriend has a duchess which has lasted 3 seasons and has no leaks but it was treated far far better than mine. All class 3, no hits/falls, properly hung and dried in appropriate settings etc.

I have sworn by L6 equipment for a long time. Base layers, dry tops, and the best elbow pads on the market IMO.

It's been said, take care of your gear properly and it will last for awhile. Going on my 5th season with the same dry top and original gaskets.
History will be kind to me, for I intend to write it.

I have a Level 6 top that I've had for 4 years now I think. It still keeps me dry - only gripe is the rubber trim pieces have been splitting since the second year but they aren't a functional piece just trim.

I do not run the gnar and hang it to dry every night so that probably helps, it's still completely dry - only moisture inside the top when I finish paddling is what comes from my own perspiration.
