Lendal Paddles?

Just wondering if anyone out there has used a lendal paddle and what you thought of it? Is it worth the money? Looking at a 4 piece breakdown bent shaft thats going to run alittle over 400 dollars.

I have never seen one but I think that they use them in the SE some.

I've used them quite a bit and am thinking about getting one this summer as a good backup. the paddlok system is awesome...a four piece feels like a one piece. they don't feather as well as my mitchell...but that's alright. the adjustable thing is really really cool. you can get any offset angle and adjust the length by a couple centimeters. i've also never seen a broken shaft...ever. the straight carbon blades feel a little lightweight but the black nylon/glass is bomber and feels like it. good overall paddles.

I have one and love it. It's a bomber paddle, easy to travel with, and feels like a one piece paddle when assembled and locked. It is a little heavy. I used it for a week in Mexico without any problems. Checked it in my gear bag with the rest of my stuff.

I am the lendal rep so I am a bit biased but I think these are awesome paddles. If you are coming out to the platte river clean up I will bring a mine with and you can try it out.

They are a solid paddle at least until I flipped over and rolled up with only half of it. Luckly for the 4 peice system all I needed was to order a new paddle shaft but still it sucked, the blades however are BOMBER!!! they would do well to make a single peice sometime
