IMO, if you are a rafter, the SuperNova is definitely the way to go. If you are swimming rapids, for the most part, your head/neck is out of the water and very little if any water gets in. I've never been severely thrashed in mine so I can't comment on that. Booties and neoprene at the neck are hard to beat.

Karma is like this: If we set causes in motion the effects come back to us.

Big props to Kayak Academy. They are awesome folks, and their website is also a wealth of info on drysuit selection, sizing, and care. I think they also will rent drysuits for folks who might not want to buy a drysuit, but need one for a specific trip. They're an all around nice resource.
Hope you & your wife enjoy your suits......and Happy Floating.

Another vote for Kayak Academy.

They gave me a ton of help over the phone and email.

Ended up buying my Kokatat Gore Tex dry suit from them and totally satisfied with the dry suit and the customer service. Might be a while before I need a new dry suit but Kayak Academy is at the top of the list.
