The heighth issue is your biggest enemy... I would first ask yourself what type of boating you plan on doing. If it's to riverrun and play, then I would suggest the Fun. If it's to primarily play and you can get into a 2fun, then go for it. But I am thinking that you are going to be too tall.

newby - if it's any help I'm new to kayaking, a female and 5 8" as well. I demo-ed the 2Fun the other day and thought is was one of the most comfortable boats I'd ever been in. I had no problem with length and didn't feel jammed in.

they're sweet

EJ showed me how to adjust the boats to correctly fit one to one's size. Knowing how to do it really makes it very comfortable and a huge difference in how the boat handles by having a correct CG. The other manufacturers better wake up...they're going to lose sales

Well, folks-- thanks for the feedback. I actually called around and found an outfitter who's gonna let me demo the 2 this wknd, so we'll see what the impression is when I get back to town on Mon.

Thank god I have tomorrow off.....
