I've been boating in full on plaining hull boat for over six years. My current boat is a EZG 50. I did most of my beginner boating in a WS score, and have paddled mostly class III and IV roadside rivers. I'm really interested in exploring the more remote rivers and creeks in my area in central Idaho. I also want a boat that I can start people out in from ground 0. I've been interested in several boats: burn, habitat, Y, nomad, diesel, cfs. I don't think I will be running much class V or big vertical drops, but I want a boat that will help build my confidence and be a dependable tool for exploring the wild places in my back yard. I want as athletic a boat as possible that I can still load up. And it will be my school boat for beginners who I take out on day trips while I paddle my EZG. I'm interested in the comparability of these boats on pionts of durabillity, stabillity, loadabillity(if that's a word), and comfort. I'm 6'1" 190lbs soaking wet. The M burn seems to be about my strongest option as fare as boat design, but I'm a big wave sport outfitting fan. How does wave sport's plastic compare to pyranah's?
sorry, lots of questions. If you have any coments on any of these pionts, that would be great.
Thanks ya'll for your info.
