Info on the LL skip!

any opinions on the loopability of the ll skip for a paddler at 5'7 150. as compared to the dagger kingpin 6.2 or the transformer T1 or the WS ace 4.7. is the skip poppy, slicy, better for cartwheels or arials. any info would be awsome. thanks.

Wow... What a list, all great boats.

1st at your weight you should be looking at the T2 and not the T1. You may fit, but the T1 won't float you properly. That said I would think of the boats in two groups.

1) Spuds- better for pop, loops, and air. These boats would include the KP 6.2, and the T2. These boats normally have a super short profile, lots of deck height, and are wide (sometimes difficult to roll). The boats skip across waves like water on a hot frying pan. Take them to the top of a steep pile and drive them down, and you'll find out why they have so much volume. Instant rejection, and your airborne.

2) Slice and rocker boats- great for wheeling and dealing. These boats tend to reach deeper into the green wave. They are the carvers. They are usally glued to the wave, great for getting to fast waves, great for river running. The Ace 4.7 and LL Session fall into this group.

As far as the Skip... It kind of falls between the two groups. It's short, but not quite a Spud boat. It's slicy and narrow, but not as much as the 4.7 or the Session. Will it Loop? Yes, in the right feature with the right moves it will loop. Want or pop, buy an IR Overthruster. It will also cartwheel and carve. It may just be the best of both worlds.
