Be aware that most folks on this forum don't boat in the winter but have to deal with the even trickier cold water, warm air issue in the spring and summer.
Wouldn't the wetsuit+drytop combo be perfect for this? I have borrowed drytops for boating in 70 deg air, 50 deg water and it worked out quite nicely.
And I know, the winter boating out here seems awesome! I want to run the doah Staircase and Little Falls in high(er) water. The good levels for those places seem to be mostly available in the winter/early spring.
God damn this is an expensive hobby!!
