How much is a cracked boat worth.

Sure a crack boat is worth significantly less than a new boat but still must have some value. I am curious how if folks here have bought cracked boats before and if so how much they paid for them?

Depending on the boat and condition $200 tops personally. Thats if its a new boat with a crack. If its a few years old and beat up... $50

I had a 2008 Mamba which cracked under the seat in 2012. I sort of repaired the crack with some polyetylene patching, gorilla glue and gorilla tape. It seemed to hold pretty good and I was able to sell it for$75. So yeah, 50-100$ is fair I suppose.

Last boat I cracked I welded, and ran another couple years as a rock boat. Never blew the weld but still decided to retire it to planter status. Looks nice in the yard with some flowers in it.......

Shameless plug. Looking for my first hardshell to continue learning. Currently in a tomcat, but rmoc got me hooked in a kayaking course this year. Due to such pesky issues as bills and child support(actually a necessity since they are my kids) looking for the deal. Been looking but seems hard to find the beginner beat it up while you learn boat.

This is a good karma route, I gave away my last cracked boat to a newbie, however, I did ask him to purchase an AW membership.

I am also surprised the general market number is as high as $200 in this thread.

Perhaps I should have asked what is the most anyone as paid for a cracked boat?

I like the insisting on current AW membership idea.

"Free" later model. (2010?) super hero with valid AW membership and a case of cider.

Must pick up in Boulder.

Has tapes cracks and pig nose.

Also Riley poached all the grab handles for some project.
