help moving a seat back

I am trying to move the seat back on a jackson 4fun classic. There is a bar that runs down the boat vertically that the seat is attached to. Any suggestions would be helpful. Also will moving the seat back 1-2 inches affect the way the boat handles?

On my rockstar and Villian there are some thumb screws behind the plastic molds of the hip pads. Through a hole facing the bow of the boat. Then hose clamps for the bar. Loosen these and you should be able to slide it on the bar. Not sure if the had the same setup on the classic models though.
