The request in the title of this thread has been achieved and I have finally made a decision. Yesterday I ordered a purple 14 Wave Destroyer and a Madcatr frame. I want to thank all for the input and help provided.

I'm also looking to get a new cat and have a weird question for you guys. I already have a 15' aire raft, so I have a gear/people hauler. I want the WD to run solo big water, but what I was wondering is could a 14' WD be R2ed on class IV or is it just to big. Obviously you would have to do some kind of special frame set up but if I could tell my wife that we could R2 it that would make it an easier sell.

The 14' is probably too big for R2. The 13' WD (which I'm told can be special ordered even though it isn't in full production yet) would be a better choice for R2, being 16 inches shorter and tubes that are 1.5 inches smaller in diameter. It'll handle big water class IV fine. I tried to intentionally surf/flip one in Lochsa Falls last spring, and it took me three tries to get it to go over.
