i got a friend that just got a new habitat, we work our stupid "for real" asses off, so we only get the weekends. shure we run lots of low creeks in colorado. but he just got a 6 inch crack in his new habitat, that he just loves. says that it is the best creeker he has ever been in, but the plastic is that of the playboat. shure it is thicker, but just as soft. wave sport supposedly has access to the dagger plastic (much better) but choose not to use it. you can tell when they are new, if you can stick your fingernail into it in the shop, it is probably pretty soft! so the quick: if you want a boat that handles really great... take the habitat. if you want a boat that will last trough at least one rocky mtn. creek season... keep looking. but really i just don't think there are that solid boats since the end of the crosslink.. so treat it like a glass boat and you got a keeper...
