I had that same boat - Short straight sections on those tubes. I ran an NRS frame that was a total of 7 inches over the recommended length and rode slightly up on the curves at either end. Never had a problem or increased signs of wear. The frame was heavy, too - Drybox, Cooler, NRS side decking, seats, water tanks and ammo can slings. What helped is that I stretched the width of the frame so that the front and rear corner fittings were sitting about 2 inches off center on the tube.
That's what we've always done. A few inches wider than center, either 62" or 64" wide lo-pro style frame and the few extra inches in length don't bother the tubes.
One downfall of the Trib's is the rather short straight section for frames!
